Aftercare

Hooray! You just got a new tattoo!

Depending on the placement, size, and type of tattoo, the healing process can vary. You can expect your new tattoo to be irritated and/or sore. These are normal reactions after a tattoo procedure. Usually, you can anticipate 1 to 3 days for red or irritated skin to subside. It is also normal for your tattoo to ooze plasma after a tattoo. During the next phase of healing, typically 3 to 10 days, you can expect the skin to get itchy and potentially develop scabbing. Be sure not to scratch or pick at your new healing skin. Follow the instructions below for further healing advice or for signs of potential infection.
